A Programme Specification is a collection of information about a programme of study. It details: the definitive list of modules in each stage; the programme aims; the programme-level learning outcomes; and the teaching, learning and assessment methods (for the various Programme Specification templates see below). It also describes the structure of the programme, its progression requirements and any programme-specific regulations. It is the responsibility of the Programme Director to make sure the Programme Specification is up to date (see curriculum review section).
