The nature of the programme you direct will often shape the relationship the programme has with any relevant employers. For example, the relationship could be direct with an employer ‘commissioning’ a particular programme to be taught at the University or it may be less direct with links forged through successful placement year students.

In either scenario, the Programme Director (or appropriate nominee) will act as the primary contact and as such should ensure a collaborative relationship exists with any relevant employers.
